Well I notice the site isn’t getting much view from the duelist here in Jamaica but I will still continue to post.

I will hit on the point that Jamaican duelist have lost there creativity Sad

, yes this is true.
Our current meta seems to be based on 2 for 1 Monarch builds, a meta that everyone around the world has gone through and has deemed too slow for there current style.
Monarch decks have no strategy, other than raw aggression. It has become the way of life; it’s now easier to build than an Earth deck Crying or Very sad

, add six Monarchs to a deck and some special summons and there you go. I want these Emperors gone, sealed away with no way to return. So many new cards are out, that makes the game so much fun when added with creativity. So I sat down and jotted down a few of the new cards and added them with the old and this was one of the builds I came up with.

Monsters: 20

3 Yellow Gadget
3 Prime Material Dragon
3 Hydrogeddon
2 Giant Rat
1 Sangan
1 Spirit Reaper
1 Marshmallon

Magic: 16

3 Shrink
2 Rush Recklessly

2 Lightning Vortex
2 Ribbon of Rebirth
1 Premature Burial
1 Monster Reborn
1 Brain Control
1 Creature Swap
1 Heavy Storm

Trap: 4

2 Royal Decree
1 Torrential Tribute
1 Mirror Force

I think this is a sweet build, gadget are always handy (lol) and Prime Material make for a mean destruction lock down not to mention burn deck kill. A Trap Dustshoot should go somewhere in there. The monsters can’t do much on their own so they are backed by a load of spells. My final verdict: its cheap competitive fun to play with. I give it a 7.5/10

There are some duelist who keeps the creativity going and Big ups to you. I will mention a few: Gawaine Myers and Marvin Dowie from Mobay and Romeo Wint from Ochi. If you think your have what it takes show us your creativity and you might just get compensated.

At each tournament I will have eyes looking out for unique decks and I will feature them here. Lets say I call this Reward and Recognition!!

Well, i totally agree with ur concern of creativity.....its just stupid to see upperdeck giving us new cards to produce new strategies and we still using the same cards and strategies every day. Thats why technically town will always have a better flare than mobay. And i dont think mobay can ever match town when it comes to variety and creativity. Most mobay people just follow the trend of the better duelists and try to mimic them as best as possible. THATS ALL!!! and its really boring to tell the truth. Thats why some of them will not get the respect they THINK they deserve from the yugioh community.

lol...must agree with both admin and general....but i guess.....some people will forever remain puppets who cant think for themselves..........so a one man come with summin new they follow

U kno i have always wondered what would happen to most people if monarch were banned still.....i would love to see there creativity after that.

True my friend, creativity nowdays has died....and that gadget build really isnt half bad. I was thinking...2 Enemy Controller over those Rush Reck. Idk y, but when you think about removal monsters, Econ saves a$$e$, especially agains DAD turning that big black dragon into a cowering little 1000 DEF LOL. Am liking the deck tho, and as a renowned deck builder who thinks on creativity, I say: "Its up to us as duelists to bring back our creativity". I play on SJC level, and Ive lost to my share of DAD as well as won a few, but I hate that card, and to think.....Armed Dragons were once my favorite....sad....they took DAD and made it surpass Horus(Dark) badly, but thats life, and now they have the purifying Judgement Dragon.
